Failure behavior and reinforcing design of degraded tunnel linings based on the three-dimensional numerical evaluation

چکیده

Void diseases behind the lining can commonly occur in tunnel structures. In this research, failure behavior and reinforcing design of degraded linings with double void were investigated. The effect disease on three-dimensional distribution inner force was explored. Subsequently, stress plastic studied. Then, fiber-reinforced (FRP)-polymer cement mortar (PCM) method concerned. Finally, potential cracking zone discussed. main results research indicated that bending moment is greatly affected by voids lining, exhibits obvious outwards phenomenon within void-affected zone. Concerning characteristics between voids, shear prone to at outer surface, but tensile-shear likely generate surface. addition, rate be significantly spatial voids. Furthermore, FRP-PCM reduce linings. Moreover, including tensile (TCZ), (SCZ), (TSCZ) determined.

Numerical Study on the Crushing Behavior of Square Tubes Under Three Dimensional Oblique Loading

This study aims to numerically investigate on the crashworthiness of thin-walled square tubes by consideration of 3-D oblique loading. In this type of loading, direction of loading is defined by using two spatial angles relative to the position of the tube. To this aim, finite element (FE) analysis is employed to simulate the loading for 8 different numerical models with different loading orien...

the effect of functional/notional approach on the proficiency level of efl learners and its evaluation through functional test

in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...

Predicting three-dimensional displacement around the tunnel and its impact on the value of Q-system

Having knowledge of stability of an underground space depends on stresses and strains around it. Creating underground tunnels leads to significant changes in the rock mass stress. Therefore, to achieve the necessary stability, stresses and deformations around the tunnel must be examined carefully. Usually, stress-strain behavior analysis is conducted in two-dimensional mode. This paper was cond...
